Toth For Incorporation

Hello, I'm Texas State Representative Steve Toth and I want to talk to you about Incorporation. I moved my family to The Woodlands in 1997. I love it here. In regards to incorporation, the question is really simple. If you want government of big business, for big business, by big business, then vote against incorporation. I get it.

However if you want locally controlled government, of the people of The Woodlands, for the people of The Woodlands, by the people of The Woodlands, then vote for incorporation.

Look, it's time that we as a community grow up, we started making these decisions for ourselves, about what's best for our community, as opposed to letting some corporation make the decision for us.

Please vote for Incorporation. God bless you guys.

"It’s very disengenious to hang your hat on the law that says you can’t go up over 3.5%… The truth of the matter is Anything beyond that requires a vote of the community… Meaning we all have to vote and decide exactly which service we want to decrease from the level of excellence we enjoy today… Please take a deeper dive in rethink that position you’re taking."
